The Location
Brooklin Maine is a small coastal village at the tip of Blue Hill Peninsula, Maine. Naskeag Point is the ocean-ward tip of the Blue Hill Peninsula, protruding into Jerrico Bay and diving Blue Hill Bay from Eggemoggin Reach (see map).
The harbor at the tip of Naskeag Point (2.7 miles) bustles with an active Lobster fishery and fulfills the needs of an active recreational community. Center Harbor and its yacht club (.6 miles to the west) provide another deeper water mooring option.
The campus of WoodenBoat Publications and its WoodenBoat School (average student age over 40) are less than one mile down Naskeag Point Road. The WoodenBoat School's student house is less than 200 feet from the door of DragonFlye Inn.
